New CEO Appointed - Nick May
The International Law Association is pleased to announce that Nick May has been appointed as the first Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Association. Nick will take over from the outgoing Chief Operating Officer (COO), Claire Martin, at the end of October 2025.
Nick has had an eager interest in all aspects of international law since the early 1990's when he established the publishing and conference company Cameron May. Over a 20-year period he published over 250 books and Journals on International Environmental Law, International Public Law, International Human Rights Law and International Economic Law, and hosted conferences on the same subjects in Europe, Asia and the Americas. Most recently, he was the CEO of a financial software company that specialises in payment systems.
We welcome Nick to the ILA and look forward to working together to continue to build the Association and further understanding and respect for international law.
