ILA Irish Branch Mourns loss of former President James Kingston
The ILA Irish branch mourns the loss of our dear friend and former President (of the International Law Association (ILA)-Irish branch), James (Kingston), who died suddenly on the 18th April 2022.
James' contribution to the ILA-Irish branch was enormous and started long before he took on the role of President. He shared ideas, invited speakers, chaired events and hosted post-talk dinners. Nothing was too much trouble. Everyone was made welcome. He was generous with his time and advice. There will be an 'empty' chair for many of us for a long time to come. We will remember James and are grateful to have known him. Dr Patricia Conlan
