IAFL European Chapter Young Lawyers Award Deadline 30 May 2025
The International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL) is a worldwide association of practising lawyers who are recognised by their peers as the most experienced and skilled family law specialists in their respective countries. IAFL was formed in 1986 to improve the practice of law and the administration of justice in the area of divorce and family law throughout the world. Our membership is currently over 1,030 family lawyers from over 70 jurisdictions.
For the past 14 years our European Chapter has run an annual competition, the European Chapter Young Lawyers’ Award which provides the opportunity for qualified practicing family lawyers with up to 10 years of qualification to enter a written competition. Details for this year’s award are available here
Full details on the case study can also be found on the IAFL’s website. Ideally entries should be in English (although translation can be sorted) and all entries must be received by Friday 30 May 2025. The winner will receive a cash prize of €1,000 and a free registration to the IAFL Introduction to European Family Law that will take place in Hamburg in October. Two runner up prizes of €500 will also be awarded.
