The ILA Mauritius branch is pleased to host the Webinar Career Series on The Role of International Lawyers - A Practitioner's Perspective on 7th April 2021.
Speakers will include:
1. Steven Sengayen - Mr Steven Sengayen is a Practising Solicitor of England & Wales. He is presently the President of International Law Association Mauritius, with in-depth experience of International law and its application in dispute resolution, litigation, Privy Council and corporate transactions, and investment activities.
2. Satyabhooshun Domah - Dr S.B. Domah, retired Judge of the Supreme Court of Mauritius. He was also a judge of the Court of Appeal of Seychelles. He is the author of professional legal works: The Mauritian Legal System, the Theory and Practice of the Law of Swindling, The Mauritian Road Traffic Offences, among others.
3.Chris Daw QC - Mr Chris Daw QC is one of Britain's leading QCs, as well as a presenter of legal documentaries for the BBC and the author of a bestselling book, "Justice on Trial", published in 2020. He acts for corporate and individual clients, in the fields of business regulation, serious fraud, money laundering, specialist and white collar crime.
4.Adam Rasul - Mr Adam Rasul is the Senior Partner to Holborn Adams Solicitors, a law firm based in the City of London, UK. Holborn Adams Solicitors is a Legal 500 leading law firm 2020. He has vast experience of acting for clients on a national and international level.
