Autumn Training Courses at the British Institute of International and Comparative Law

The British Institute of International and Comparative Law
(BIICL) continues its wide ranging programme of training for summer and autumn
2023. We will be offering courses including Cyber Operations and International
Law, Migration and Refugee Law, Artificial Intelligence, Law and Ethics, Public
International Law in Practice, Climate Change Litigation, Energy Law,
International Cultural Heritage Law, Labour Law, Climate Change Law and Law of
the Sea.
BIICL training combines world
leading research with an applied perspective. Our courses are convened and taught
by experts from BIICL’s own team in collaboration with external partners,
combining academic expertise with practical experience in these fields of law.
They are designed to enable legal practitioners, policy makers, government
officials, civil society, organisations, academics and students to gain expert
insights and to deepen their knowledge in areas of international law. They also
provide opportunities for networking and to meet (virtually or in person)
others working in the field.

Places on all our courses are
limited to ensure a highly interactive experience. Some courses are offered
virtually whilst some are offered in hybrid format facilitating participation
from anywhere in the world.
Discounts for group bookings and for individual members of BIICL are available. A limited number of scholarships are available for each course to enable participation from individuals who cannot otherwise join the courses, and for people from communities that are currently under-represented in the legal community.
